Dr. Sanchez has forty-seven years of professional practice, and specializes in the areas of Civil, Commercial and Constitutional Law, the last twenty years practicing from ACZALAW NICARAGUA and being at the same time Dean of the Law School of the Universidad Católica Redemptoris Máter (UNICA).
Mr. Sanchez is a recognized civil and constitutional lawyer, specialized in family law, property law, registry law and inheritance law, contracts
and obligations.
Before joining ACZALAW, he was part of the law firms Martínez Cuenca and Servicios Profesionales Especializados, S.A., has been a consultant to companies; member of human rights commissions with extensive participation in the peace process in Nicaragua, and of investigation commissions.
Dr. Sanchez has worked in various public, private and academic institutions as an official or consultant.
He has participated in national and international conferences on conflicts and mediation. Completed studies and training seminars in the areas of family law, juvenile law, human rights, international humanitarian law, both in Nicaragua and abroad: Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Mexico, Spain, Germany.
Dr. Sanchez has been Dean of the Law School of the Universidad Católica Redemptoris Máter (UNICA) and Professor of:
Introduction to Law; Civil Law I (Family Law); Commercial Law; Constitutional Law; International Human Rights Law; and Social Doctrine of the Church in the Schools of Law, International Relations and International Trade and the School of Business Administration.
Currently at the same university, Dr. Sanchez is a member of the Superior Council (he has been since the founding of the University) and is an Institutional Advisor, with emphasis on the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences and the Directorate of Registration and Academic Control.
