In Spanish language, and\/or accompanying official translation before an authorized notary.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the documents to be presented are: Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Criminal Record Certificates and Health Certificates, Diplomas of Professionals or Certificates of Studies Abroad, passport, identity card among others.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are a <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Self-Employed<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> foreigner, you may apply for residency in the subcategory of self-employed. The requirements and documents vary depending on the status under which you apply.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are an employee <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">en <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Dependent relationship<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> debes aplicar a la solicitud de residencia con la condici\u00f3n Uno (A TRABAJAR).<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>If you wish to acquire permanent residency:\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/h5><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will tell you what are the common requirements for obtaining permanent residency.  In addition to other requirements, essentially you must have basic documents referred to:  Original in good condition and photocopy of passport (valid for no less than six months). Nationals of CA-4 countries, in exceptional cases, may present original and photocopy of valid Identity Card; Two passport-size photographs (4\u00bd inches high by 3 1\u20442 inches wide), white background, without glasses, hat, cap, ears and forehead uncovered; Birth certificate and naturalization certificate in case of having acquired another nationality, issued by competent authority of their country of origin, certificate of criminal record, health certificate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All documents issued by the competent authority of your country of origin or previous residence issued by the competent authority of the country of origin or residence for the last three years.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All documents must be in Spanish or with their official translation and duly apostilled or authenticated through consular channels, as applicable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to other requirements that may be required, it is important to take into account that in exceptional cases, additional documentation may be requested in order to authorize or deny the application.
