This is done on an annual basis subject to renewal. Without this permit, the owner of the equipment will be subject to import withholding by the General Directorate of Customs Services (DGA) and the goods will not be delivered until the corresponding permit is obtained. There are exceptions for operators established on the basis of their license or authorization.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>For Homologation<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of telecommunications equipment: It is the Act by which the regulatory body officially recognizes that the specifications of an equipment intended for telecommunications, meets the standards previously issued or approved. It is an applicable procedure so that they can be marketed, used and operated in Nicaragua.
