Alonso Porras has extensive experience in regulatory and administrative law, as well as in legal advice on corporate law, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, with emphasis on compliance issues, including obtaining operating licenses, concessions and permits, in different regulated economic sectors.   

He has participated and coordinated mergers and acquisitions processes, from the initial stages of due diligence, the preparation and drafting of legal documents for the formalization of the transaction, its authorization and validation by the competent regulatory bodies, the approval of the PROCOMPETENCIA Institute, as well as coordination and involvement with the accounting and financial teams, to ensure all aspects (including tax) of the closing.

In his real estate experience, he has led the legal aspects of property acquisition, permits and authorizations before governmental and municipal authorities, for the development of well-known urban and coastal real estate projects, housing (high profile and social interest) and tourism, and in the constitution of condominium regimes.
